John Naylor and Jennifer Braster, founders and managing partners of Naylor & Braster, Attorneys at Law, and associate attorney Andrew Sharples have been recognized as three of Nevada’s top attorneys by legal rating service Super Lawyers, bringing the honors to the firm for the sixth consecutive year.

Providing ratings of outstanding lawyers based on both peer recognition and professional achievement, Super Lawyers utilizes a patented selection process using independent research, peer nominations and evaluations to deliver its annual results. The Super Lawyers rankings are some of the most respected in the industry.

Naylor, a former judge advocate for the United States Air Force and arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, was named to the list of Mountain States Super Lawyers in Nevada and the Western United States for the sixth time since he first received the recognition in 2014.

Braster, who has a been regularly selected as a Super Lawyers’ Rising Star since 2010, was first named to the Mountain States Super Lawyers list in 2016 and has been selected every year since. Braster has also been named to Nevada Business Magazine’s list of Legal Elite twice, a Top Lawyer in Commercial Law by Desert Companion and a Woman 2 Watch by Vegas Inc.

“It’s such an honor to be selected again as Mountain States Super Lawyers,” Braster said. “We appreciate the recognition from our peers and from such a respected rating service.”

Sharples joined the prestigious list of lawyers and was named a Super Lawyers’ Rising Star for the first time. Only 2.5 percent of attorneys across the country are named Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars, an honor reserved for attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing law for less than 10 years.

Sharples is a business litigator at Naylor & Braster and practices in the areas of employment law and appellate law. He was recognized for his public interest legal volunteer work during his studies at Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan and is a member of the Clark County Bar Association’s Community Service Committee.
