Attorney John Naylor to provide legal information at drop-in clinic
On Friday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., attorney John Naylor will participate in a free legal clinic for veterans in Pioche, Nevada. The clinic will be held in the town’s New Volunteer Fire Department at 357 Airport Road. No appointment is needed and the clinic is open to veterans, active duty military and reservists.
The clinic is being hosted by Nevada Attorney General Paul Laxalt’s Office of Military Legal Assistance and is one of several being held throughout the state this year.
Naylor is a U.S. Air Force veteran and served as a judge advocate. He has provided pro bono legal services to veterans throughout his legal career and represented veterans before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims through his work with The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program. He has been recognized as a Best Lawyer annually since 2015, has been selected to Super Lawyers every year since 2015 and has a 10.0 rating from Avvo.
At the clinic, he will provide free legal advice in the areas of Family Law, Bankruptcy, Landlord/Tenant/Public Benefits, Consumer Law/Protection, Wills and Powers of Attorney.
Nevada Attorney General Adam Paul Laxalt founded the state’s Office of Military Legal Assistance in 2015, the nation’s first attorney general-led, public-private partnership offering Nevada’s military communities access to pro bono civil legal services. The program pairs Nevada’s active duty, Guard and reserve service members with local attorneys to receive legal assistance for civil matters including consumer fraud, military rights, immigration, landlord/tenant, predatory lending and creditor/debtor issues.
